Mr. Beskin manages the Social Security Disability Benefits department for the firm. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Colgate University and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He obtained his law degree from New York University. He was in general practice until his appointment as an Administrative Law Judge of the Workers’ Compensation Board in 1981. In 1988 he became the Deputy Bureau Chief of the Family Court Division of the Suffolk County Department of Law. In 1991 he served as Chairman of the Suffolk County Ethic Commission. He joined Sherman, Federman, Sambur & Levine, L.L.P. in 1992.

He resides in Bay Shore and in 1998 he stood as a candidate for the office of New York State Assemblyman from the 8th District in Suffolk County. He has been and is active in the Bay Shore community and has served in numerous civic groups and committees for the betterment of the Bay Shore-Brightwaters community. Mr. Beskin resides with his wife Jean, a court reporter and is a proud grandfather of two.
