Ms. Sambur is a graduate of C.C.N.Y and St. John’s University School of Law. She began her career in Workers’ Compensation as a Carrier’s Representative, and from 1979 until her admission to the Bar of the State of New York in January 1985, she was licensed by the Workers' Compensation Board as a Claimant’s Representative. Her practice as an attorney has been devoted to representing injured workers and uninsured employers before the Workers’ Compensation Board. She joined the firm in 1989 and has been a partner since 1994.

In 1985 she was appointed to the “Chairman’s Advisory Council on the Recodification of the Law” for Workers' Compensation. She has chaired the Long Island Workers’ Compensation Task Force since it’s inception in 1996. She is a member of the New York State and Suffolk County Bar Associations, as well as the Injured Workers’ Bar Association. She has lectured on N.Y. Workers’ Compensation topics before the Suffolk County Bar Association, the National Business Institute, the New York Chiropractic Council and various union groups and associations. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the East Northport Jewish Center. She lives in Suffolk County with her husband and two fine sons.
